Delete Your Account

ThriveOS — Last Updated: 14 October 2026

You can delete your ThriveOS account and all of the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

ThriveOS publishes several independent applications, each with its own account. Tell us which application your request relates to, and we will delete that account and its data. If you use more than one, submit a request for each.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

In Start-ish, deletion completes after the server confirms your request. An internet connection is required. In Quotella, open Settings › Account › Delete account and confirm. An internet connection is required.

  1. Open the application
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Open Account, then select Delete Account
  4. Confirm when prompted

Option 2 — Request deletion from the web

If you have already uninstalled the app, or cannot sign in, request deletion here instead. You do not need to reinstall the app.

Submit the form below, or email support@thriveos.app from the address registered to your account. Tell us which application your request relates to — we cannot action a request without knowing which account to remove.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it. If you email from a different address, we may ask you for additional information to confirm ownership.

Send from this address if you can. If you email from a different one, we may ask you for additional information to confirm ownership.

This opens a prefilled email in your own mail application for you to send — nothing is submitted from this page. You can also just email support@thriveos.app yourself.

What gets deleted

We remove your server account and associated authentication data. In Start-ish, deletion from inside the app also initiates cleanup of personal records, profile images, scheduled notifications and shared app surfaces on that device. This does not change or delete the original items in Apple Reminders.

Start-ish stores productivity history locally without cloud synchronization. A request sent by email cannot remotely erase data held only on your devices. Remove local app data on each device separately, and manage any backups or shared copies yourself. Signing out does not delete your local history.

In Quotella, deletion removes your account and everything stored with it on our servers: your themes, saved and hidden quotes, check-ins and settings. The app then returns to its welcome screen. Your purchase record at RevenueCat (a random account identifier and App Store transaction history, with no email or content) is kept so you can restore purchases later.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We cannot recover your data afterwards.

Our applications are independent, so an account you hold in another ThriveOS application is not affected and is not removed automatically.

What we keep, and why

Limited records may remain where necessary for the purposes below. Our Privacy Policy describes retention in more detail.

RecordWhy retainedHow long
Purchase, tax and accounting recordsSubscriptions, refunds and legal obligationsFor the period required for the record and applicable law
Security logs and rate-limit recordsProtecting the Service and investigating abuseFor the applicable operational period or necessary investigation
Restricted backup copiesRecovery and continuityUntil the relevant backup expires

Retained records are used only for the purpose requiring retention. AI provider safety records and independently held platform purchase records may follow separate retention rules. See our retention policy.

How long deletion takes

  • In-app deletion — your account is removed when the server confirms deletion; the app then initiates local cleanup on that device.
  • Web request — send the email prepared by the form to submit your request. We aim to complete requests within 30 days, subject to identity verification and any extension permitted by law, which we will explain.

Where applicable, we pass deletion requests to providers holding identifiable data on our behalf. Some technical records cannot be linked back to an account, and necessary legal, safety and backup retention may continue.

Deleting your account is not the same as cancelling a subscription

If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account, or you may continue to be billed by the platform that processes your payment.

  • App Store subscriptions — cancel in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, then select the application.
  • Google Play subscriptions — cancel in the Play Store app under Payments and subscriptions.
  • Web subscriptions — cancel from your ThriveOS account settings, or contact us. Web billing is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

We cannot cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.
